Events for Young Entrepreneurs!

WHY ARE YEA! EVENTS "DIFFERENT"?

YEA! events are designed ONLY for a specific type of person (and only the entrepreneurs who
own their OWN business(es); they're interactive, action-oriented and fun.

(Event attendance is also by invitation or referral or request only; we'll talk about that 
in a minute...the "do's" and "don'ts of attending are clearly outlines below).

Have you ever heard a GREAT "keynote speech" or "talk" and left energized...but the next
day you found you didn't have any specific ways to implement what you had heard about?

(Us too)

The YEA! presentations are from serial entrepreneurs who will share what works (from 
experience) as well as the mistakes they've  made and what not to do (which really 
helps your learning curve).

Then, to help you better understand what you learn from the presentation and help you 
create actionable steps to start taking the next day, everyone breaks off into facilitated 
"mastermind groups".  You will talk with 3-4 other people and brainstorm and share ideas of 
what new strategies you will be implementing for your business.  (This also gives you the
opportunity for great connections after the event; you will know people that have learned 
the same information and want to continue your conversations afterwards). 

Since the conversations have already started the open networking afterwards is an easy
transition (and we even continue the networking after leaving the event; at a social place
nearby (to be determined at each event)) 


WHY ARE YEA! EVENTS "INVITATION OR REFERRAL OR REQUEST ONLY"?

First things first: We're not talking about "a strict application policy" and we're definitely not 
doing it to appear high strung (we're actually pretty laid back...)  If you think the explanation 
below is talking about "your kind" of event let us know.

It's to give you the best experience possible; both learning and networking.  It's so everyone 
networks with like-minded, entrepreneurial people WITHOUT feeling like people in the room
are just trying to "pitch them" or "sell them" something.  It also means that you'll be in with 
ACTIVE networkers (and all you had to do was send an email?)

Multi-Level Marketers. MLM has it's place at many networking events. Just not YEA! events.
Job seekers. There are a lot of great groups out there for job seekers. Most of the YEA! attendees are not immediately hiring and are attending to learn and network.
Financial advisors, agents, sales people, etc that work "on their own" but process sales through a corporation they DON'T own.
Reps selling a product or service backed by a large corporation. The lifestyle and day-to-day business dealings are entirely different for an entrepreneur.
People coming with the primary or sole intention of SELLING TO entrepreneurs. Definitely the wrong environment for that. KEY POINT about this: YEA! has created amazing professional relationships, friendships, referrals, business partnerships and more. ALL of which started with the common ground of entrepreneurship; NOT "Hey, can I sell you something?".
